The annual Gold Coast motorsport event held every October in Surfers Paradise seems to change its billing with every
year, formally the Indy 300, last year it was suppose to be the host of the A1GP, before that competition folded due
to financial troubles. What you can always rely on though, is that you will always be able to see V8 street racing
action, it will always be stinking hot and that there will always be as much off-track entertainment as there is on
the track!
The 2010 Armor All Gold Coast 600 will host the ‘V8 Supercar Challenge’, Round 12 of the Supercar series, as well as the possibility of an international open-wheeled racing event too, however, confirmed details are yet to be released. Whatever happens, you can’t find a better excuse to take a short break to the wonderful Gold Coast than the SuperGP. As well as the racing there is the nightlife, shopping, beaches, theme parks and the great weather in general. Hotel Package
Surfer’s Paradise
20th - 25th October
If you want to be in the Gold Coast for all the SuperGP racing action without breaking the bank, then this package is for you. Our Hotel Package has you staying in the 4-Star Surf Parade Resort, which is only 2 minutes walk to the beach and about 15 minutes from the SuperGP track. The luxurious apartments feature full kitchen facilities and offer great beach and city views from your private balcony. Surf Parade Resort is perfect for couples, so if you are a group of blokes, who don’t fancy romantic, candlelit dinners together, then let us know as we have other apartment style accommodation properties available.
Depart Auck/Wgtn/Chch on 20th October, you’ll arrive in Surfer’s Paradise and check in to your accommodation, located a short walk from the race track. For the next four days we’ve got your racing tickets sorted with 4-day General Admission passes (grandstand upgrades available). Then on Monday 25th October, depart Surfer’s Paradise and head home to New Zealand.
This package includes return airfares, airport transfers, 4-Day General Admission passes to the 2010 Armor All Gold Coast 600, 5 nights accommodation at the 4-Star Surf Parade Resort and Mike Henry Travel Insurance.
NOT INCLUDED in this package is the $25 New Zealand departure tax (if departing from Wellington).

Flights - While our package pricing is for flights departing from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, let us know if you would prefer to fly out of a different airport and we can cater the quote to suit you.

Accommodation - At Surf Parade Resort they have twin, double or triple rooms available, all rooms offer full kitchen facilities and balconies. There is an old saying something along the lines of – “If you’re going to do something, you might as well do it right”.
