What you need to know:

Campervan - 2-Berth Campervans have one double bed, 4-Berth Campervans have two double beds and 3-Berth Campervans have three double beds. When requesting a quote please specify what size camper you would prefer. Our package includes all rental charges and levies, but does not include insurance cover and excess reduction. This has to be purchased upon pick up of the vehicle and is AU$22 per day, which reduces your excess to AU$2500. AU$2500 is then held on your credit card as a bond. Or you can pay AU$40 per day, which reduces your excess to zero, a bond of AU$220 may still be held on your credit card. Bond amounts are refunded when the vehicle is returned, providing there is no damage. There are also optional extras we can arrange for you; from pre-purchased gas to personal kits (pillow, pillowcase, sleeping bag, towel & tea towel), from additional drivers to outdoor tables and chairs. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER.

Campsite - There are several types of campsites available, please specify on your quote request form your first and second choices. Please note we had a few complaints last year about campsites being on sloping ground, while we will endeavor to secure the best campsites available, we are unable to change the geography of the campsites. Campsite options are; McPhillamy Park Campsite (for the hardcore fans, located right on the top of the Mount), Reid and Sulman Park, The Paddock (more of a family orientated area), Max Cameron (down the bottom), The Chase, Powered Motor Home Park (very limited spaces available and extra cost applies). The Motor Home Park is the only campsite with powered sites. All campsites are approx 10m x 8m. Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee your first choice of campsites.

Flights - While our package pricing is for flights departing from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, let us know if you would prefer to fly out of a different airport and we can cater the quote to suit you.

Transfers - Included in the package are transfers from Sydney Airport to the Medina Grand Hotel on the 5th and from the hotel to Sydney Airport on the 12th. It does not include transfers to and from your hotel to the Campervan Rentals Depot (located about 20 minutes from the city). We can arrange transfers to & from the Rentals Depot if you wish, however we find that with a small group, it’s cheaper to just get a taxi and we can give you directions/map to the depot.

Insurance - We include Mike Henry Aussie Essentials Travel Insurance with our packages. If you already have made arrangements for travel insurance, let us know. If you wish to know more about our Mike Henry Travel Insurance, let us know and we can send you a brochure.

Accommodation - At the Medina Grand Hotel take your choice from a Studio Room or Premier Studio Room (Queen Bed), 1-bedroom apartment or premier apartment (Queen Bed), 2-bedroom apartment or premier apartment (2 Queen Beds) or 3-bedroom apartment (3 Queens, or 2 Queens & 2 singles).

We do have some flexibility with travel dates and package inclusions, so if something doesn’t quite suit you, let us know and we can try to cater the package to suit your personal requirements.

For all bookings we require a 50% deposit to secure your package and the remaining 50% at least one month prior to departure. For all our terms and conditions, check out www.boys-trip.co.nz/termsConditions.php
